Steal His Style : Liam Hemsworth ... Rising Style Star

You know Liam Hemswoth…just maybe not by name. He’s the guy from The Hunger Games (no, the other one).  Miley Cyrus’s betrothed.  Thor’s little brother.  Yep, the-e-e-r-e we go.
While for now he’s known mostly for movies and that whole, “asking Miley Cyrus to marry him before she’s old enough to drink champagne at her own wedding” thing, the Australian actor is thinking about adding to his “designer” to his resume.
Word on the street is that the former Hannah Montana star (sorry, no matter how old she gets, I’m always going to refer to Cyrus that way) was at menswear trade show Project New York this week, telling folks her fiance was thinking about starting up his own line.
The thing is, when I heard this, you’d think I’d be all, <<eye roll>> “Another ‘celebrity’ designer? No-o-o-o thank you.” But no. I’m actually kind of psyched.
For awhile now I’ve been wanting to do an Outfit of the Day piece
featuring Hemsworth, but had worried his effortlessly cool looks looked too…well, effortless. A t-shirt, jeans and a leather jacket? Ingenious! A black suit and white shirt? Diabolically simple!
But I suppose that’s the point, right? One man’s “Let’s just pull this, this, and this out of the closet today” is another man’s “How did he put that together?” So I figured featuring a few of Hemsworth’s greatest hits could be helpful.
Does it hurt that Hemsworth technically qualifies as “off-the-charts dreamy” on the rigorous Teen Beat scale? No, of course not. But he also understands the importance of good fit (even if your biceps’ circumference don’t match his, doesn’t mean your shirts shouldn’t fit just as well at the arms).
When he’s dressed down, he still looks put together. And when he dresses up, he still looks comfortable. We should all strive for such a balance.
So if you’re looking to young Hollywood for inspiration for your wardrobe lately (not a bad idea, considering your other options — I’m looking at you NBA finals guys – those hipster glasses? Those club collar shirts? C’mon now, that was supposed to be basketball press conferences, not a fashion show), throw a side eye in Hemsworth’s direction. The actor won’t hit icon status for a couple (dozen) more years, but if he keeps on dressing the way he does now, he’ll get there eventually.
Here are some other OUTFITS :
